Teacher Workday (student holiday) Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009
Math: We checked our study guide and separated into groups to focus on the types of problems each student needed to work on the most. Students also studied and quizzed each other on keeper notes #12-13, corrected their study guides and finished and received feedback on the 10 review questions from yesterday.
HW: Keeper #12-19 is due tomorrow. Call someone or come in at 8:50 to finish your notes from my binder or a friend in homeroom. Make sure your table of contents is updated and meaningful color is added to key vocabulary and key words in the definitions or the steps of the processes.
Fraction Test is tomorrow!! Look back in chapter 4 and 5, study your keeper notes on fractions, rework problems in your workbook or on your study guide, work more story problems in your book, workbook or online. Make sure you know the steps to add and subtract, how to borrow, and the steps to muliply and divide and what a rational number is and what the fraction bar means.
